Internals for Radial Flow Reactors
A radial reactor is a type of reactor where the gas flow direction is perpendicular to the axial direction of the equipment. It is commonly used for gas-solid catalytic reactions, as well as for non-catalytic reactions. As the reaction gas flows through the particle bed in a radial reactor, the large cross-sectional flow area, low flow velocity, and short flow path contribute to its key characteristic: a minimal pressure drop.
We manufacture critical components such as center pipes, scallops, and outer baskets for radial flow reactor vessels. We strictly adhere to ASME code requirements for carbon content in materials designed for high-temperature operation, ensuring the reliable and efficient performance of radial flow reactors.

Description

Liquid distributors can be applied above each bed of packing in packed towers for being distributed uniformly.

Advantages  :

  • Ekaislot Trough Type liquid distributor allows solids to settle above the floor of the trough, being applied for low to moderate fouling services.

  • Drip guides will be placed outside the troughs, effectively eliminating liquid misdistribution and entrainment induced by the effects of vapor flow.

Feed Devices

Feed Devices

The feed can be applied for liquid or vapor only , and mixed phases of liquid/vapor (flash feed),

Inlet feed device can be generally designed in pipe, vane, and deck type, etc.

Collector Trays

Collector Trays

Liquid collectors can be generally applied between packed beds for partial liquid draw-off and/or to feed a liquid distributor below.

It can also be applied for total liquid draw-off to product or reboiler, or applied for liquid mixing.

Distillation column

The column internals provide a contact place for mass transfer and heat transfer for the gas-liquid phase and liquid-liquid phase; There are two main types of column internals: packed column and trayed column. The packing column internals mainly include packing, liquid distributor, liquid collector, redistributor, gas distributor, packing fastening device, packing support device; trayed column internals mainly include: tray, liquid collection tank (trayed column), tray support device (trayed column), feed distributor, gas feed and distribution device and mist eliminator.

Packed column

Working principle: The liquid is sprayed onto the packing from the top of the tower through the liquid distributor and flows down the surface of the packing. The gas is fed from the bottom of the tower, and after being distributed by the gas distribution device, it continuously passes through the gap of the packing layer with the liquid in a countercurrent manner, and on the surface of the packing, the gas-liquid two phases are in close contact for mass transfer.
